Coaching grounded in experience — and deeply human
I’ve spent much of my working life trying to understand what helps people do well — and what gets in their way.
I’ve held senior operational and HR roles, including HR Director at Virgin Atlantic, so I understand first-hand the pressure, complexity and sometimes loneliness that come with responsibility.
I’ve spent 20 years coaching people and trained in counselling and psychotherapy. So while I’m interested in what’s happening around you, I’m equally curious about what’s happening underneath.
Because the presenting problem isn’t always the real problem.
And that’s the conversation I’m interested in.
My qualifications span business, leadership, professional coaching, counselling and psychotherapy. But qualifications are only part of the story. I’ve spent 20 years sitting alongside people as they navigate difficult decisions, demanding roles, relationships, change and uncertainty — and I’ve held senior leadership roles myself, including HR Director at Virgin Atlantic.
Leadership challenges rarely arrive neatly packaged with a defined coaching outcome. My role is to create the space to think deeply, challenge assumptions and see what is really going on — so that the way forward is meaningful, not simply measurable
I understand the pressure of the role. I’m equally interested in the person carrying it
The thing clients most often tell me is that they feel truly heard. Not judged. Not fixed. Not given a formula. Heard.
I don’t believe meaningful coaching can always be reduced to a neat goal or a set of outcomes. Leadership, work and life are rarely that tidy. Sometimes the most valuable thing we can do is slow down, think deeply, challenge what we assume to be true, and create enough space to see things differently.
My role isn’t to tell you what the answer should be. It’s to help you find the answer that is right for you.
